We’ve all been there: that frustrating moment when your sink or washbasin is blocked. It’s enough to drive you crazy! But don’t fret, because there’s an amazingly simple and natural solution that’ll have your sink flowing again in no time.
In the kitchen, there are things we don’t usually pay much attention to until they stop working. This is particularly true of drains. If left untended, they can easily become blocked.
But what to do when the sink becomes blocked? Instead of using a plunger or chemicals, there’s a simple, economical and highly effective grandmother’s trick.
With 2 ingredients
You’ve probably already tried a few ways of unclogging your sink more naturally, such as with washing-up liquid, cola or a mixture of white vinegar and bicarbonate. The latter, while impressive, is totally ineffective. For us, here’s the most effective formula.
For this grandmotherly trick, you’ll need two elements: salt and baking soda. Together, they make a powerful combination against any substance blocking your sink drain. After just a few seconds, you’ll have a new sink.
