Dishwashing liquid

Vinegar
Vinegar is a bacteria killer that every home should have. It is best suited for very hard floors such as tile, vinyl, linoleum and laminate and should not be used on softer floors such as hardwood or marble. You should add half a cup per 3.5 litres of water. There is no need for rinsing.
Borax
Borax is a powerful cleaning agent similar to baking soda but more alkaline. It tackles deep stains, dirt, disinfects and deodorizes. It is mildly abrasive and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and is effective against household insects such as ants and cockroaches. Best for tile, concrete, stone, concrete, vinyl and linoleum. You should add one-eighth of a cup to 3.5 gallons of water. After washing, you need to go a second time as borax can leave residue.
Ready-made floor cleaner
