After a long wait, the developers at Mojang Studio have released Minecraft in a native version for PlayStation 5. The well-known cube hit has only been available on Sony’s consoles as a PlayStation 4 variant until now. The PlayStation 5 native version should take full advantage of the current console generation, following the example of the previously released Xbox Series X/S port.
Minecraft is currently available on PS5 in a preview version, which may contain some flaws. The release of the full version will follow once sufficient feedback from players has been gathered and any issues have been fixed. Along with the release of the full version, cross-play multiplayer support will be added to allow you to enjoy the game with friends on other platforms.
