Summer is that wonderful time of year when we all enjoy the cool comfort of our air conditioners and fans. Unfortunately, this also means higher electricity bills as we all turn them on more often.
On top of that, we’ve been experiencing a prolonged heatwave, which has made us all want to stay cool even more. And with electricity prices going up, it’s been a bit of a challenge to stay comfortable without breaking the bank.
Finally, the only certainty is that July’s electricity bill will come with an increase both because of the increased electricity tariffs and the increased use of electrical appliances.

For those lucky enough to have air conditioning in their homes the situation is easier while for those without the situation is definitely more difficult but not unmanageable. The fan we have at home can easily and quickly do a similar job to that of the air conditioner with just one quick and easy patent.
The bottle trick to cool your home without an air conditioner
All you need to turn your fan into an air conditioner is a large bottle that you fill with water and after you put it in the freezer and it freezes, you place it in front of the fan. This is a hack that has gone viral on TikTok.
After a while you will notice that the air brought in by the fan is noticeably colder.
Of course, according to the laws of thermodynamics and physics, the ice will start to turn back into water after a few minutes. So make sure you have 1-2 bottles in the freezer for those emergency times.
