This is the Laundry Detergent That Should Be Removed from Supermarkets, According to Profeco

The lovely folks over at the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) are always on the lookout for products that might not be as safe as they should be. Recently, they took a closer look at some laundry detergents and found a few that shouldn’t be on the market.

Laundry detergent is an essential product in any home, as it is indispensable for the cleaning of our clothes, however, not all brands comply with what they state in their products.

In the study carried out by Profeco, different aspects of laundry detergent brands were analyzed, such as their performance level, washing efficiency, truthfulness in the information provided and the care of colored fabrics.

Due to a defect in its production, there is a product being sold with a flaw The molecular structure of the product allows the detergent to encapsulate the dirt particles, separating them from the fabric fibers and facilitating their removal during the washing cycle. But from the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (Profeco) evaluated that there is one that does not comply with the correct production process.

Profeco pointed out that there are around 8,190 units of Tilde Pods detergent that are found with this fault and in collaboration with Procter&Gamble, these products have been called for revision.
In this way, Profeco communicated through the Consumer Magazine’s X account that the countermeasure for this situation will be the reimbursement of the total cost of the product without the need to present the purchase receipt.
